Robert Lewis Bostwick AIA is President
and Director of Design at Bostwick Design
Partnership, an architecture firm based in
Cleveland, OH and Erie, PA. The firm specializes
in the design of medical, educational, and library
projects, creating facilities having a fine sense of
detail and a unique sense of identity.
Robert is responsible for establishing the firm’s
design direction and setting overall strategy.
Robert emphasizes innovation in both design and
project delivery, and he works with owners and
contractors to cultivate progressive, team-based
approaches to project organization. A frequent
presenter on user experience and project delivery
models, Robert shares his knowledge and ideas
at major conferences, speaking in San Francisco,
San Diego, Chicago, Nashville, Austin and Salt
Lake City, and in Saudi Arabia, Kuala Lumpur,
Seoul and Damascus.
Before establishing Bostwick Design Partnership,
Robert was a Senior Associate with Cesar Pelli
in New Haven, Connecticut, where he designed
large scale commercial and institutional projects
in New York City, Buenos Aires and Washington
D.C. Robert received his Master of Architecture
degree from Yale University and his Bachelor
of Arts from Bucknell University. While at Yale
he was Associate Editor of Perspecta 24, Yale’s
journal of architecture.
