Objective:
The purpose of AICON 2015 is to bring the physics community
together to develop plans for addressing some of the
problems of sustainable product development. In the
conferences we will be discussing ways to enhance efficiency
and reduce pollution in transportation, including studying new
battery and internal combustion technology, promoting the
use of solar energy, and developing biomass energy.
The theme, Physics and Health, is in recommendations which
included developing a collection of web resources for
education and development of guidelines for medical physicist
to increase the recognition of physicists in medical field.
Physics and Economic Development theme can train physicists
in business skills to help them apply physics for economic
development. A network on physics and agriculture that
would make materials and resources available online.
Nanoscience for economic development is possible focusing
on air, water, and energy.

A society, under the banner of Shivnath Shikshan & Seva Samiti, is
committed to providing quality education in Professional curriculum
& services to Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and the adjoining
States. Since existence CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY, Durg, an AICTE approved & NBA accredited
Engineering Institute affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda
Technical University, Bhilai is a Premier Center for Technical
Education. The campus is spread over 33 acres in a lush green
environment in the suburbs of the Twin Cities of Durg-Bhilai. The
institute has acquired the IS0-9001:2008 certification for its Quality
Management System in 2008. In Chhattisgarh State, CSIT is having
the honor of introducing the curriculum of Electronics &
Instrumentation Engineering in 2005 and Mechatronics Engineering
in 2009 within the first decade of its existence. PG courses in
Industrial Engineering and Management (Mechanical Engineering)
Communication Engineering (Electronics & Telecommunication) and

C.S.I.T is located on Balod Road Shivaji Nagar near Kolihapuri, P.O.
Pisegaon, Durg and approximately 2 km away from the National
Highway - 6 (Howrah –Mumbai route) on which Durg –Bhilai twin
cities are situated . The CSIT campus is 5.5 KM. away from Durg Bus
Terminal and approx, 8 KM from Durg Railway Junction which is well
connected to the major cities of India by Rail. Swami vivekanand
International airport, Raipur is about 40KM.
About the Department:
Right from its very inception in the year 1999, Applied physics
Department has been marching ahead on the path of progress and
success. In its journey towards ensuring quality education this
department has consistently been setting up new examples and
milestones by successfully organizing National Seminars on
Recent Trends in Applied Physics in AICON – 09, 10, 11,12,13.
This department is well equipped with modern equipment to
cater the needs of students. Faculty members are actively
involved in the teaching and research activities. Research and
Development work of the department has got recognition in
National and International platform.

Guidelines for Submission :
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers reflecting original,
unpublished work in these fields. Papers should not exceed 6 pages
including results, figures, and references. Manuscript templates are
available on the website:

The CD-ROM proceedings of accepted papers will be made available
at the Conference.
Only the papers that will be presented at the conference will be sent
to the reputed international journals for publication on payment
basis. Only electronic submissions with PDF / Word files will be
accepted via the easy chair website.
Authors are expected to present their papers at the conference upon
acceptance and the presenting authors are required to register for
the conference.
