Shuttle will be provided from barn to trailer parking area. RULES A. Entry fee of $20.00 per head. Entries will be accepted until 12 Noon Sat, August 29. Early entry by August 1st would be preferred. B. Prospect Steers and Heifers will be shown by weight. C. Calves must be born after January 1, 2015. D. Exhibitors must meet with Superintendents immediately upon arrival for stall assignments, entry card registration, and instructions for weigh-in and classification. E. All cattle must be unloaded. No showing out of trailers. F. Stall space provided, must furnish own bedding. Mulch bedding available for purchase. G. Fans: Maximum of one (1) fan per calf. H. Class size will be approximately 10 head per class but may be adjusted at the discretion of the Superintendents. I. Fitting: See general rules for all exhibits ie: Fraud, deception and/or misrepresentation of any kind are unacceptable practice for any exhibitor at the Allen County Fair. SEE INSPECTION AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS RULE 901:118-06 Exhibitor MUST own animal 30 days prior to closing of entries. All exhibitors will be REQUIRED to furnish their own bedding. Cows over 3 years old in various classes, must have borne a calf previous to the exhibit. No unworthy exhibit shall receive a premium. Only persons actually showing cattle and fair officials will be allowed in the show ring when judging is being done. No exhibitor can make more than one entry in DAM & DAUGHTER, PRODUCE OF DAM, GET OF SIRE, AND BEST THREE FEMALES. “Produce of Dam” shall consist of two animals, any age, either of both sexes. “Junior Get of Sire” shall consist of three animals, either sex, under 2 years old. “Get of Sire” in various classes, shall consist of three animals, either sex represented, any age. “Best of 3 Females” BRED AND OWNED BY EXHIBITOR. All cows milked in the milking parlor will be sampled and tested for the antibodies in the milk. ANY SAMPLE TESTING SUSPICIOUS WILL RESULT IN THE EXHIBITOR BEING FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MILK CONTAMINATED. O. Only dairy breeding animals that have been entered in a Junior Fair Class or Open Class and not older than senior yearling are eligible for Pee Wee Showmanship.
