AV in Bible Study - Building Lives by the Book
9:30am – Bible Study Classes for all ages
1. Adults – are invited to join Pastor Jim in rm. #1 (lower level) for ‘Gospel-inLife’ which is an 8 week study/conversation on the gospel and how it is lived
out in all of life. First in your life, then in your community and then, out in the
world. We will join author/pastor Tim Keller…bring your Bible, notes provided.
2. Women’s Class – come join Elaine in rm. #3 for ‘The Power of a Whisper Hearing God and Having the Guts to Respond’ by Bill Hybels. Learn to hear
from heaven as you navigate life on earth.
3. Young Adults (C & C) – join Bernie, Lynn, Chris and Sarah in the portable
for learning to tell ‘our story’ using material from ‘I AM SECOND’.
4. AV Youth – IGNITE – J/S High meet in the Prayer Room (main floor) with
Pastor Greg for a study in Romans: This comprehensive Bible study will
help students establish a firm foundation for their faith as we cover the sin
nature, law, righteousness of God, faith and the work of the Holy Spirit.
5. AV Kids:
– ages 6-11 meet in Fellowship Hall
– ages 2-5 meet in rm. #2
– Nursery up to age 2 (main floor)

Ladies take note….Annual Ladies Spring Breakfast – Saturday, May 09
@ 9:30am, doors open at 9am. Speaker will be Phil Callaway (via DVD), tickets
$10. and will go on sale April 26 and May 03 in the church foyer or the church
office during the week.

Members take note….There’s a notice from our Board for you to pick-up at
the Welcome Centre on the proposed amendment to our by-law. The
Membership will vote on a motion to approve this amendment at the Member’s
Annual Meeting on May 12 at 7pm.

JOY Grp. Meeting - this Thursday at 12 noon
Plan on joining our ‘Just Older Youth’ for a tasty lunch; you’re not required to
bring food unless contacted. Pastor Jim will be speaking along with special music
provided by Nancy Titley.
