Alumni Weekend Outreach Volunteers
Banana Slugs far and wide are marking their calendars for Alumni Weekend 2015 – April 24,
25 and 26. This Alumni Weekend is special because it celebrates the 50th anniversary of UC
Santa Cruz. With even bigger and better events for alumni and their families, it is also a perfect
time to reconnect with old friends, meet current students, and visit your favorite places on our
beautiful campus.
Alumni Weekend is more lively, fun, and inspiring if your classmates come back to celebrate
with you. We are looking for a group of proud Banana Slugs to help with outreach efforts
leading up to the weekend to ensure that maximum fun is had!
Reunion Outreach Volunteers:
♦ Write postcards to classmates
Personally invite old friends and classmates to join you at Alumni Weekend, or reach out
to Banana Slug alumni who live in your area. We provide the postcards and stamps; you
just tell us who! (We can provide a list to help trigger your memory.)
• We will send you a packet with materials in January.
• You are free to reach out to as many or as few people as you like. Volunteers
often choose to contact 15-30 alumni.
