 JANUARY TO MARCH 2015 NEWSLETTER Happy New Year to all our families at All Saints. It was a nice break but we always look forward to getting back to being with the children, learning and playing together. Please read on for some important information regarding the next few months. DONATIONS A whopping $1040.00 was raised and will be used for Art supplies, activities and special projects throughout the rest of the year!! Thank you for your generous donations!! NATURE’S FARE 3 % CLUB Total to Dec. 31st is $133.43 Income Tax Receipts If you can claim Preschool fees for Income Tax purposes, please sign up for your receipts on the list posted at the preschool. Indicate child’s name and who receipts should be written out to. All receipts will be issued at the end of January. PARENT NIGHT It is once again time for our most popular event of the year. On Thursday, January 22nd the preschool will be closed during the day in order for us to prepare for our Annual Parent Night from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Our theme this year is “ Blast Off to Space.” This event is open to all children who will be going to Kindergarten in September 2015 and ONE PARENT. This is a fun evening of activities and games for you and your child to do together, followed by a special story. A small snack will be provided by the preschool. A sign up for our Blast Off to Space evening will be posted at the preschool. All children must be signed up by January 13th . 1 IMPORTANT DATES Reminders Please remember to send a nutritious snack along with a bottle of water with your child. We only have 10 to 15 minutes to eat so send something manageable for your child. When dropping off your children please ensure their labelled mitts, hats, scarves etc are in their coat sleeves or snowpant legs. Boots are placed under their outdoor clothes. Thanks for helping us to get outdoors quickly. January 13th: Board meeting 7 p.m. All parents are welcome. January 22: Parent Night 6:00 – 7:30 For children who are going to kindergarten in the fall and 1 parent. February 9: Family Day Preschool closed March 2: Registration Night See specific information, this page. March 13: Last day of preschool for 2 week Spring Break. March 30: Preschool reopens April 3: Preschool closed for GoodFriday April 6: Preschool closed for Easter Monday REGISTRATION NIGHT FOR SEPTEMBER 2015 Yes it is almost time to start thinking ahead to next fall. This year we are doing Registration all in one evening, Monday, March 2nd. In order for things to move quickly and efficiently, we ask that you come prepared with your $50.00 Registration fee, post dated cheques for September to June and for all new Registrants, a completed form. Please note that children currently attending and returning need not fill in a new form but must make sure all information is current. * Due to bookkeeping and budget difficulties, we will no longer be offering payment options for Quarterly or Annual sums. All cheques must be written for the beginning of each month from September 2015 – June 2016. (10 cheques) Monday, March 2nd, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. For current children returning. Monday, March 2nd: 6:15 – 6:30 p.m. for siblings of current and past children. Monday, March 2nd: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. for all NEW registrants. All Registrations are on a first come, first served basis.
