January 2015 Newsletter HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME BACK! Another year has come and gone, but now we look ahead to another exciting year! January brings an exciting, activity packed month for the students. Not only will they be learning about winter and snow activities, they will also be making winter soup and learning about dragons. If you would like to volunteer in your child’s class to see all the wonderful things they learn and do, please sign up in the preschool lobby or see teachers Linda and Carrie. IMPORTANT DATES FOR JANUARY January 5 & 6 - Classes resume January 7 & 8 - Show and share days (bring in a toy or activity to share) January 12 & 13 - Wear red and white days January 19 & 20 - Make winter soup (bring in item that will be requested… see cubbies) January 26 & 27 - Bring in 2 rectangular EMPTY tissue boxes (for valentines day crafts) We’re on the web! Visit us at www.induspreschool.com SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB 2014 was a great year for book orders, so let’s keep it going for 2015! The January order forms will be out shortly, so look for them in your child’s cubby in the preschool lobby. Please keep in mind that all your orders earn free supplies, books, and games for your child to use in the classroom. TAX RECEIPT If you require a tax receipt for your child’s 2014 preschool fees, please contact the Treasurer Jenn Alberding. She will happily send you a copy so you can claim it on your 2014 tax return. REGISTRATION 2015/2016 Registration for Indus Preschool 2015/2016 will be held at Indus Recreation Centre on Wednesday March 4th, 2015 at 6:00pm. Classes are offered on a first come, first served basis. Numbered forms will be available as of 6:00pm and registration will commence at 6:30pm. Please visit our website for more details.
