Journey hotspots and peak traffic time data (Easter 2015)
Nevertheless our vast amount of traffic data means we can see where the relatively busy routes and times have been in
previous years. Based on operational experience our National Traffic Operations Centre has identified routes in each of
the seven control room regions for specific periods as being amongst the busiest on our network at certain times of the
day. The following table sets out these routes and potential peak periods for the Easter bank holiday period, from Friday 3
April to Monday 5 April 2015.
What this data shows:
The table identifies the busiest three routes for each of our control room areas. These are not necessarily the 21 busiest
locations across England and cannot be added together to create a national picture.
