On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, BNY Mellon presents
Bone Appétit, A Celebrity Chef Dinner at the Estate
in Buckhead. The evening will include music, cocktails,
hors d’oeuvres and a spectacular five course dinner
with wine pairings, and of course, puppies!
The Atlanta Humane Society is the oldest private
charitable organization in Atlanta, founded in 1873.
AHS places more than 7,000 animals into forever
homes each year. We are committed to finding
homes for all adoptable pets through our two
campuses at 981 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta and
at 1565 Mansell Road in Alpharetta.
Chef Piero Premoli from Pricci, Chef Kathleen Miliotis
from Davios, Chef Christopher Grossman from
Atlas, Chef Mark Alba from STK, and Chef Timothy
Magee from Community Smith are the celebrity chefs
creating this exciting meal. Joining them is
Sommelier Ian Mendelsohn advising on the wine
pairing. The evening will begin with a reception at
6:30pm, followed by a spectacular dinner at 7:30pm.
It is our mission to prevent neglect, abuse, cruelty,
and exploitation of animals and to assure that their
interests and well-being are fully, effectively, and
humanely protected by an aware and caring society.
We are proud to be a part of the solution to ending
pet homelessness and overpopulation in the
southeastern United States.

All net proceeds go directly to benefit the animals
at the Atlanta Humane Society.
In addition to adoptions, the Atlanta Humane Society
also provides: an AVMA-approved full-service
veterinary hospital; low-cost and mobile spay/neuter
services; microchipping; obedience classes; pet first
aid and CPR training; a pet food bank to assist other
animal rescues; Visiting Pet program for nursing
homes, hospitals, and children’s centers; and a
transport team that works with rescue groups throughout
the area to facilitate more adoptions statewide.
