Concrete silo
The concrete silo is universally recognised by it’s very high levels of solidity and finishing. Application of the latest
technologies ensures that all the elements meet the highest quality standards. The precast concrete panels are pretensioned and the silo is sealed with a patented EPDM rubber with elastic properties. This rubber absorbs the constant
movements to which the silo is subjected. These movements may occur due to changes of the liquid level, soil pressure,
and changing weather conditions.
Technical specifications
• Available in heights from 4 to 12 meters.
• Capacity ranges from 314 to 15,000 M3.
• Diameters vary from 14.4 to 50 meters.
• The precast concrete panel are produced in concrete strength
C35/45// environmental class X4 XF3 XA2 X43.
• The silo can be provided with a floating cover or a tensioned cover.
• Concrete panels are sealed with a patented EPDM rubber.
• Draw-off station ø 315-160 mm, other versions are available.
• The silo conforms to the Dutch structural engineering guidelines for manure tanks (BRM).
• Reference period of 20 years.
• Warranty 10 years, subsiding.

• Electric mixer.
• Propelling mixer mounted through the silo wall with adjustable nozzle.
• Inspection hatch.
• Filling pipe mounted over the silo wall.
• Return pipe.
