Sub.: Mission Swachh Bharat” – Participation of Bharat Scouts and Guides - Submission of
Monthly Report.
Ref: NHQ Circular No. 76/ 2014 dated 29.09.2014.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Your kind attention is drawn towards NHQ Circular under reference.
As all of you are aware that Government of India has launched “Mission Swachh
Bharat” on the call of our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India with effect from 25th
September 2014.
As you are also very well aware that this project is a part of our syllabus incorporated in
the Boy/Girl & Adult Training programmes under various C.D.Project and we are
regularly undertaking the task in one way or the other as a Community Development
Project/Work involving our Scouts & Guides in such campaigns at various levels in the
Organization.
I am sure our Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Adult Leaders are regularly working
towards this Mission on "Swachh Bharat” very actively at all levels with enthusiasm and
have contributed to their optimum level.
Taking this Mission as a part of our Daily Good Turn, we therefore once again request
you to kindly continue motivating all your District Units to encourage Scouts, Guides,
Rovers and Rangers and Adults Leaders to participate in this mission.
Separate Reports of participation of your Districts, Local Associations and Units on
the cited subject may be regularly collected and forwarded to National Headquarters
with a copy to Assistant Director of your Region on or before 10th of every month as
a regular feature with action photographs for compilation and publication in the BSG
Monthly Magazine as well as for further communication to the Ministry of Water &
Sanitation and Ministry of Youth Services & Sports, Govt. of India for wider publicity
of the activity being implemented by the Bharat Scouts & Guides.

Continuous performance of State will be judged and rewarded at the National level
in the National Council Meeting.
