Elizabeth Harty | Paintings and Prints
1 Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco
| Sea Glass Wearable Art
44 Thurston Pt. Road, Gloucester
978.283.8333 | www.capeanndesigns.com
There is no substitute for real seaglass and its
unique shape and feel resulting from travels
on the high seas. Using this media I create
distinctive, functional, wearable art - jewelry
& hair accessories that capture the indigenous beauty and authenticity of Cape Ann.
Follow me @capeannart.
Anni Melançon | Dogtown Studio Pottery
Cape Ann Artisans are members of a thriving, vibrant
arts community, located along the scenic North Shore
of Massachusetts that includes four state-designated
cultural districts. Come visit us, explore our exquisite
natural surroundings, and see the fine art and craft
inspired here. Many Artisans are open year round;
during non-tour times please call for an appointment
to view our work.

Pia Juhl Nadel | Painting, Cards, Wood Sculpture
39 High Street, Gloucester
978.283.7175 | [email protected]
My paintings are inspired by the land,
the sea, and the people I know. I work both
large and small—loving texture and light,
acrylics and oils. My style? Intuitive, contemporary, evocative, somewhat realistic,
sometimes whimsical. Come and see.
5

978.290.6595 | www.camillamacfadyen.com

Marty Morgan | Pottery and Sculptural Tile
Camilla’s textile studio is a vibrantly
colored retreat. Exploring methods of
printmaking, Camilla balances the
precision of small batch silk screening
with experiments using seaweed collographs and gelatin plate monotypes. She
produces wearables, large wall panels, tea
towels, dolls, t-shirts and more.
428 Washington Street, Gloucester
978.281.3347 | www.martymorganpots.com
Marty is known for her elegant stoneware and
porcelain pottery. Her current work features
shino glazes in smokey apricot colors as well as
highly textured, multicolored “quarry vessels”
and tile wall sculptures.

Mary Ann & Mace Wenniger | Prints, Encaustics, Ink
Drawings | 70 Holly Street, Gloucester
978.281.1181 | www.wennigercottagegallery.com
Mace, sculptor, and Mary Ann, printmaker and
painter, believe that we were made to own beautiful art, to enjoy seascapes or snowscapes, to be
thrilled by a delicate rose or colorful abstracts.
After years in Wenniger Galleries, they open their
home studio on Goose Cove. Come sit by the
water. Collect new work and enjoy select older
pieces.

David Piemonte works with traditional black
& white film as well as digital photography.
Much of his inspiration comes from the
simplicity of nature. Terry Del Percio-Piemonte’s mixed media and collage pieces are
abstract and full of color, and check out her
Prayer Sticks. The path leading to their studio
is an interesting journey in and of itself.

M S Foley Stoneworks | Stone Sculpture
376 Essex Ave, Gloucester
508.284.5885 | www.msfoleystoneworks.com
M S Foley Stoneworks opens
2015 with new marine life stone
sculptures and a heightened focus
on functional household products.
These and more will be displayed
for sale at our West Gloucester
gallery and studio during this
year’s Cape Ann Artisan’s Open Studio Tours.
We were delighted when, over and over again, a
studio that we dropped by simply because it was on
the route we were taking, turned out to be a little
jewel. We were so impressed by the quality ... it was
also a special privilege to be welcomed so warmly
into the artists’ studios.
