17th Annual Spring Gala
Spring Gala 2015
Saturday June 6th
Costumes are the responsibility of the
dancer and must be kept in excellent condition. Every dancer is responsible for
providing the necessary tights, shoes,
etc… This can be found on the website under dress code. Ballet III & up must have
capezio #9 mesh footed tights with seams
in theatrical pink. All Ballet II and under
must have micro fiber light pink tights
available through the studio. Under garments should not be worn under costumes. Please make sure your child has
extra tights in case of rip or damage.
Dancers should also have a cover-up if
they have a snack or need make-up touch
up. Please mark your child’s name on all
of the dancers belongings. All ballet slippers must be leather. Consult the website
for other shoes.
Hair must be in a secure bun. No Bangs.
Short hair must be pulled back and secured. A hair net must be worn over bun.
Please do hair correctly for dress rehearsal
and picture day as well as performance.
All Dancers must have dance make-up on.

IMPORTANT
If sending snacks with your child
please avoid nuts, red or purple
juice, chocolate or any food or
beverage that could potentially
stain. Each parent must take
responsibility for the clean up of the
dressing room after their child is
finished dancing. In addition the
college has told us the theater and
changing room must be kept clean
and not be damaged in any way or
we will no longer be allowed to
rent the facility.
All Rehearsals held at the Yarmouth studio are not dress rehearsals. Tickets will not be sold
at these rehearsals. The dress rehearsal is at Cape Cod Community College. Please bring all
costumes, shoes etc.. Make-up should be worn. During the dress rehearsal parents and siblings are not allowed in the auditorium. All parents and family members who wish to stay on
school grounds will have to wait in the Tilden Arts Center Lobby. Only Moms who are planning on staying back stage during the performance are allowed back stage during dress rehearsal. If you are interested in volunteering backstage please signup at the studio.

We need volunteers to work as backstage Moms.
We need dad’s who are willing to work back stage
(both dress rehearsal and performance)
We need help with our bake sale.
Our Volunteers are greatly appreciated.

Dear Dance Families,
We are all working hard to get ready for our 17th Annual Spring Gala! The performance will
be Saturday June 6th, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. This years production will be called A MANHATTAN
DANCE STORY. It will be held at Cape Cod Community College, Tilden Arts Center. All the students have been working very hard and it is a very exciting time as they prepare to impress
their family and friends with the culmination of a great year of dance. Each family is
responsible for the purchase of four (4) tickets. The cost of each ticket is $25.00. As a courtesy to all our loyal dance parents we are offering $23.00 tickets starting May 4th - May
30th. After May 30th the cost of the ticket will be the face value and available tickets will
not be sold until Dress Rehearsal on Thursday June 4th or at the door. Please remember to
invite all your family and friends to this wonderful performance and experience the magic
of watching your dancers hard work and dreams come to fruition. The more people in the
audience the more exciting it is for your child. Early ticket sales will be distributed at the
studio.
