About Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton
R
osemarie Ingleton, M.D., P.C. is a board-certified
dermatologist in New York City. Her comprehensive, goto approach on skincare sets her apart and has made her one
of the most sought after experts.
Dr. Ingleton’s approachable, yet aggressive ways to treating
skin has catapulted her career and moved her to begin a
private practice in SOHO. She is noted as a leader in treating
ethnic skin, acne and dermatologic surgery. Coupled with her
foolproof preventative method of treating skin, Dr. Ingleton’s
wait list for appointments and interviews grows by the minute!
Ingleton received a BA in psychobiology from New York
University and her Medical Degree from the University of
Maryland. She completed her Internal Medicine residency from Beth Israel Medical Center
in New York and her Dermatology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New
York.
Dr. lngleton is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the
National Medical Association, Dermatology Society of New York and American Society of
Dermatologic Surgeons. She holds academic appointments at Beth Israel Medical Center,
Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Mount Sinai Hospital.
She has served as a professional consultant and spokesperson for the product launches of
various skincare companies such as Eucerin, Biore and Curel and has lectured members
of the media and corporate executives on various skin disorders, therapies and industry
news.
A frequenter in magazines such as Elle, Self, Glamour, YM, Cosmo Girl, Seventeen, Real
Simple, Essence, Cargo, Cosmopolitan and Lucky., Dr. Ingleton has also been featured
on MS-NBC, CNBC, CNN-FN’s The Flipside, TLC’s “What Not To Wear,” UPN 9 News and
NBC’s Dateline NBC.
Dr. Ingleton has been in private practice since 1996. Her practice is now well known in the
downtown beauty, art, fashion and music circles and covers the entire scope of diseases of
the hair, skin and nails.
Dr. Ingleton lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband Buddy Cooper and two young
boys, aged eight and 10. In her spare time, she enjoys modern and jazz dance techniques,
gardening and practices vinyasa yoga. Dr. Ingleton is also a avid traveler to broaden her
appreciation and knowledge of various cultures, which she hopes to instill in her children.
