Programme Philosophy
The Associate of Science Degree in Business Studies is an excellent training option for anyone who has an
aptitude for the world of business and commerce. The programme is aimed at addressing the needs of a
wide cross section of individuals, whether there exists a long-term objective to pursue a career in the field
of management with a business organization, or to become an entrepreneur. Graduates of the programme
will be equipped with communication and technology skills in addition to being exposed to an excellent
mix of courses in accounting, management, entrepreneurship and a foreign language (Spanish).
Duration
Two (2) years [4 semesters full time, 6 semesters part-time].
Entry Requirements
An applicant MUST have a minimum of five (5) passes in subjects at CSEC or GCE O’Level: English A,
Mathematics and three (3) other subjects.
Mode of Study
The A.Sc. Business Studies is currently offered on a full-time and part-time basis.
