TOURNAMENT RULES:
1. This is a certified 9-pin NO-TAP Handicapped Singles Tournament. Open to all bowlers, adults and youth, women and men
2. This is a fun tournament. Club uniforms are required. Each participant will bowl three games of 9-pin NO-TAP with curtains hanging
from the ceiling, between the bowler and the pins.
3. There will be three divisions: Women, Men and Youth. Check in time is ½ hour prior to squad time.
4. Handicap is 90% of 230. No handicap will be given for averages over 230.
5. Entering average:
1. The HIGHEST 2014-2015 BOOK AVERAGE, posted on bowl.com of 21 games or more. (SEE RULE 319; AVERAGES-PER USBC
PLAYING RULES).
2. Current league average as of April 15, 2015 of 21 games or more with league/association secretary verification.
3. The HIGHEST 2013-2014 BOOK AVERAGE.
4. If a bowler has no verifiable average, the adult bowler will bowl with a 230 average and the youth will bowl with a 150.
6. The tournament director will verify all averages and if necessary, will change any incorrect averages. Bowlers are responsible for
submitting their correct average. If a bowler believes that their average is not correct, they MUST contact the tournament director
prior to the end of the first game. Failure to use a correct average will disqualify the score.
7. Prize funds will be returned 100% at a ratio of at least one for every 5 participants who qualified and paid entry fees. The youth will be
awarded scholarship monies. In the event of a tie, the tied positions will be added together and divided equally. Prize fund will be paid
to the winners within 30 days of the tournament.
8. Lanes will be assigned as entries are received. If you wish to bowl together with someone, please send the entries together. If the
lanes are full, some bowlers will be placed on adjoining lanes if possible.
9. Entries close April 29, 2015 at midnight or when full. Limited to the first 64 paid entries. Walk-ins will be accepted until check in time
(12:30 May 3, 2015). NO REFUNDS will be given once the entries close. Substitutes will be permitted if all qualifications, including
average, are verified prior to squad time.
10. Bowlers arriving late must start her game in the frame that is being bowled and shall receive a zero for frames missed.
11. The Tournament Committee will make all decisions concerning anything not covered in these rules.
12. A $10 charge plus all bank fees will be assessed to the bowler for any returned checks and must be replaced with a Money Order,
Cashiers Check or Cash.
