USBC/TNBA rules and regulations shall govern the conduct of this tournament. This tournament will run for one weekend and shall begin Saturday, May 2, 2015 and end Sunday, May 3, 2015. All entries accepted until the last scheduled squad. Squads may be added the first day of the tournament if lanes are available at the Director’s discretion. Bowlers may enter as many times as they want, but may cash only once with same partner. PBA CARDHOLDERS are not allowed to bowl as partners for doubles. Optional singles fee is an additional $10. Side partner fee is also an additional $10 per bowler. Handicap based on 90% of 210. MAX HANDICAP is 76 PINS PER PERSON PER GAME. Entrants will use their highest 2013–2014 yearbook average. ANY BOWLER HAVING NO 2013–2014 YEARBOOK AVERAGE, MUST USE THEIR HIGHEST CURRENT AVERAGE, BASED ON 54 GAMES OR MORE AS OF APRIL 15, 2015 (NO SUMMER LEAGUE AVERAGES WILL BE USED). *Proof Of Average Must Be Provided. ALL Out-Of-Town Bowlers MUST Provide Proof Of Average. If neither of the above applies and proof of average is not received, entrants must use a scratch (210) score. Sports League Averages will be adjusted according to USBC Rule #203 and Rule #205(a). Bowlers should specify if average is a Sports League Average. It is the bowler’s responsibility to submit the correct average. Failure to use proper average shall disqualify scores if the submitted average is lower than the actual average. If submitted average is higher than actual average, handicap will be computed based on the submitted average. Average corrections must be made by the completion of the first game series. Any bowler who has won $600 or more in a sanctioned or non-sanctioned tournament or who has been rerated/average adjustment in any tournament within the last 12 months, must report this information on the form provided, BEFORE bowling for possible average adjustment. Failure to do so shall result in disqualification without refund. Open to All TNBA and USBC certified bowlers in good standing. Bowlers MUST present their current (2014-2015) TNBA and USBC membership card or PROOF of purchase upon entering this tournament. If you cannot show proof of the membership card(s), you must buy membership card(s) at the tournament site. Itemized entry fees: Doubles - Bowling fee - $8.25, Prize Fund $17.50, Expenses $4.25 - Total $30.00. All Prize Monies returned 100%. Prize monies will be paid on a ratio of 1:10 (1 place for every 10 entries). Automatic scores will be used with scores verified by computers. Any corrections to scores will be made by a tournament official. Bowl three (3) games on same pair of lanes. CASH PAY OUT SUNDAY, May 3, 2015 (after last squad). USBC rule 319A(2) Does apply for this tournament. (If previous season’s average is used, and the entrant’s current average for 21 or more games is 10 pins or more higher than the prior season’s average, the current average must be used.) USBC rule 319c Does apply for this tournament. (The average of a bowler may be adjusted upward before participation in any event. If assigned average is not accepted by bowler the entry fee shall be refunded.) USBC rule 319d Does apply for this tournament. (A handicap or classified tournament may require a bowler to report any previous tournament prize winnings as a condition for entry.) USBC rule 319e average adjustment Applies for all bowlers (if 12 month tournament average of 21 games or more exceeds current book average by fifteen pins). Tournament Directors reserve the right to reject or re-rate any entry. Decision of the tournament directors shall be final except where an appeal is made to USBC/TNBA for further consideration.
