Are you interested in conducting a Cochrane Review? Or have you
recently registered a systematic review title with a Cochrane Review Group?
Consider joining us for this author training course!
Content: Take this three-day workshop to learn the basic skills of conducting a Cochrane
Review. Topics include protocols, setting your question, literature searching, study
selection, assessing bias, data and analysis, formulating conclusions and a hands-on
session with the Review Manager software.
When: March 30-April 1, 2015, 0830-1700h
Where: Toronto, Ontario
Capacity: 30 participants
Applicant Criteria: Able to bring a laptop computer
Places will be prioritized as follows: 1) Dentists/dental hygienists; 2) Those with
registered Cochrane Review titles; 3) Those new to Cochrane Reviews
Structure: Presentations, small group work, group discussions
Cost: $350. All materials, daily lunches and refreshment breaks are included. Individuals
are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and meal costs not covered
by the course as applicable.
