LET THE LORD HAVE HIS WAY.indd
Explanation:
Presentation:
Introduction:
The Lord is another way of saying God. You can let God have His
way in your life by obeying the things. He tells you in His Word,
the Bible. If you choose not to do what He says, you won’t have
real happiness and peace in your life. God has a special plan for
your life. If you let Him be in charge you won’t have to worry,
because you can know He is taking care of everything.
(Sing the song for the children while showing the visual.)
What does a school crosswalk guard do? (Allow children to
respond.) How does it help you to let him tell you what to do? (It
keeps you safe.) The school crosswalk guard can help you get
across the street safely, but if you let God have His way, He can
take care of your whole life.
Teaching the Song
Application:
Saved: If you have already received Jesus, you should read God’s
Word and do what it says. This is how you can let God have His
way in your life.
Unsaved: The first thing you need to do to follow God’s plan and
let Him have His way in your life is to believe in His Son, Jesus,
and receive Him as your Savior. This is the way God planned for
your sin to be forgiven.
Repetition:
(Have all the children sing the song with you once. Have them
stand and sing it again. Then have each child turn to another
child and sing the song as if talking to him or her. Review the song
in upcoming classes.)
LET THE LORD HAVE HIS WAY
Let the Lord have His way
In your life ev’ry day.
There’s no rest, there’s no peace,
Until the Lord has His way.
Place your life in His hands.
Rest secure in His plan.
Let the Lord, let the Lord have His way.
