Peanut Butter Drive to support the Family Center Food Pantry
Columbia, TN – April 20, 2015 – Community First Bank & Trust stepped
forward in an effort to fight hunger. The bank collected a total of 850 jars
of peanut butter from both employees and customers to benefit The
Family Center food pantry.
“Our goal was to collect as many jars of peanut butter possible, so that
families will have access to a protein-rich, non-perishable food that will
make a big difference in their daily lives,” said Jenifer Richardson, vice
president and branch manager at Community First Bank.
In efforts to raise additional funds, Community First Bank employees participated in multiple Jean Day
Fridays where employees donated $5 to wear jeans in support of the fundraiser.
