Drive/Float by! Each year, members of WRYC drive by CYC and we salute
them with our cannon. CYC Officers, standing on the point in front of the
pool, wave in greeting. If you hear the cannon, please salute our

Flag Raising – Saturday, May 9th
This day is the “official” kick off / opening of the Club for the
season. Our Flag Raising ceremony is just that – a ceremony
where we raise the flags on the flag pole for the first time
this season. A long-standing tradition of yacht clubs around
the country, it is a day where we celebrate the traditions of
yacht clubs, welcome guests from other clubs, remember
those who have passed on, celebrate our officers, new
members, our children (and grandchildren), crown a new
Club Princess and enjoy all the camaraderie that our club
provides. The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. Children are
encouraged to participate. Sign-up sheet is on the Junior
Fleet bulletin board. (see flyer next page)

NOTICE: The CYC BOG has voted and approved a change in the
billing process for fuel dock purchases. Effective immediately, the
fuel dock will only accept credit cards. Membership cards will no
longer be accepted at the fuel dock and will not be included in
your monthly bill.
