President ’s Message W e’re thrilled to have you with us in Huntington Beach for the 2015 TeamLogic IT Owners Summit. Our program focuses on helping you catch the spirit of success while building your Managed IT Services business. During our time together, you’ll also have an opportunity to visit with other franchisees and exchange ideas and information, which is vital to your business growth. Each presentation has been carefully crafted to help you gain knowledge in specific areas of your business. You may have a hard time deciding on which breakout sessions to attend between sales, operations and marketing. As always, the Corporate team is available to assist and answer any questions you may have. And you will see that we have dedicated more time for you to spend with the vendors and we urge you to do so. We have seen some of the largest channel companies in the world go direct to the customer and they are taking market share from MSPs and VARs every day, creating a phenomenon called “channel eclipse.” If a technology services company is going to be successful today, they need to understand how to market with the cloud. Have you done a cash flow analysis to ensure you can afford this person? When do you expect them to breakeven? Where will they sit? Will you reimburse them for expenses? Are you going to supply them with leads or are they responsible for generating their own? Have you established a budget for how much they can spend on networking, T&E, giveaways, etc.? Do you have clear sales goals in mind? How is the new salesperson tracking their results so you have a record of their activity?
