RESPONSIBILITIES Review new transactions with the firm’s senior investment professionals; Manage the transaction diligence and underwriting process; Compose investment committee approval documents; perform valuation analysis; develop complex financial models; Monitor portfolio company performance; Communicate with private equity sponsors, investment banks, due diligence providers and other third parties relevant to transaction underwriting and portfolio monitoring DIFFERENTIATED CAREER EXPERIENCE Entrepreneurial environment supported by robust institutional processes; Unique perspective of investing across a capital structure (senior debt, mezzanine debt and equity); High volume of transaction opportunities and exposure to a diverse set of industries, companies, management teams and transaction types; Broad responsibilities and the opportunity to work with seasoned investment professionals as part of a small team; Build relationships with private equity firms, investment banks and other capital providers. Coffin President [email protected] (Associate Opportunity – Page 2) REQUIREMENTS Two-four years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, senior leveraged cash flow or mezzanine debt lending; Knowledge of leveraged finance, including senior debt, mezzanine and equity co-invests, is a plus. Solid financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation skills; Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication capabilities; Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities.
