Permission has been granted by the Barn Hunt Association, LLC for the holding of these barn hunt trials
under BHA Rules and Regulations.
Open to all Breeds and Mixed Breeds of all sizes! Classes offered:Instinct, Novice, Open
Class Descriptions:
RATI (Rat Instinct Class): Three PVC tubes placed in plain sight on the course. Tubes will be: one dry,
one with litter only (no rat), and one with both litter and a rat. Time Limit: 1 minute.
RATN (Novice Barn Hunt): Three PVC tubes hidden on the course. Tubes will be: one dry, one with litter
only, and one with both litter and a rat. Time Limit: 2 minutes.
RATO (Open Barn Hunt): Five PVC tubes hidden on the course. Tubes will be: one dry, two with litter
only, two with rats and litter. Time Limit: 2 minutes,30 seconds
Dogs may enter both the Instinct Test and Novice class in the same match. All entries must be
accompanied by entry fees to be valid. A returned check does not constitute a valid entry. There will
be a $50 fee for all returned checks. No entries will be taken over the phone or electronically. Make
check payable to CRC. Send entries & fees to the trial secretary. Dogs do not need to have a Barn
Hunt registration number for a Fun Test.
Pre-Entry fees are $8.00 for Instinct Test and $10.00 for Novice and Open Limit 60 runs total. Late
entries and day of entries may be accepted if space allows. Late entry fees are an additional $3.00 per
run.
We will need workers to help ensure the Fun Match runs smoothly. Please sign up when

DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE:
The Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center is easy to find. It’s located on State
Highway 30 just east of Lancaster.
The resort is just a few minutes south of Interstate 76. Take the Route 222 Exit, follow
Route 222 to Highway 30 and follow Highway 30 East.
EXHIBITOR INFORMATION -This event will be held outdoors – rain or shine! Please dress appropriately!
Please note this event is being held in conjunction with CRC’s annual ATTS and CGC
testing. Please be attentive to your dog and be respectful to those around you.
Restrooms are available in the Expo Center; food will not be available on site, but
there are numerous fast food restaurants within a few minutes’ drive.
All dogs must be on lead and under control while on the trial grounds. FLEXI LEASHES ARE NOT
PERMITTED in the fun match area. Dogs MUST run naked, no collar or harness. There is
SMOKING in designated areas on the grounds. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in
designated areas.
RUNNING ORDER:
Dogs will be run in height order with dogs being handled by the same person separated into different
staged groups. No more than 60 runs will be accepted.
Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept separate from all other dogs,
must wear panties and will be run at the end of their class/trial. If bringing a bitch in season, please
inform the trial secretary prior to the trial and inform all exhibitors at the judge’s briefing.

AGREEMENT
I (we) acknowledge that if this application for the entry of this dog is made
available to me (us) for participation in a Barn Hunt event, that I (we) agree
that this facility has the right to refuse the entry of this dog and/or they
reserve the right to dismiss the dog and myself for cause which Barn Hunt
deems to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this and the
opportunity to train my dog(s), I (we) agree to hold Barn Hunt Association,
LLC, Colonial Rottweiler Club, Inc., and Lancaster Host Hotel, premises
Owners, and all associates harmless from any claim for loss or injury which
may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or
thing by the act of this dog or dogs while in or upon the premises or
grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all
responsibility and liability for such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for damage or injury to the
dog or myself, either physically or mentally, whether such loss,
disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused
by negligence while in or upon the premises of the Barn Hunt grounds. The
terms of this agreement bind the parties for the current period of training,
and all subsequent classes/training/events in which they hereafter
participate.
