Maximum number of different dogs allowed to be entered per envelope is ten. Entries postmarked after April 22 must pay Day-of-Show entry fee.If entering at the trial, please come with a printed entry form and waiver filled out. Day of show entries will be accepted from 7:15-8:00 on Friday and from 6:45-7:15 on Saturday and Sunday. SDTC reserves the right to ask any person attending an event on our grounds to present proof of Rabies vaccination at any time. Permission has been granted by the Barn Hunt Association, LLC for the holding of these barn hunt trials under BHA Rules and Regulations. Dogs earning a title in Trial 1 on Friday/Saturday/Sunday may be moved up to the next class for Trial 2. This is up to the handler and not required. Moveups will be accepted on Friday/Saturday/Sunday up until time announced by Trial Secretary. Move-up forms will be available at the Secretary’s table. All entries must be accompanied by entry fees to be valid. A returned check does not constitute a valid entry. There will be a $50.00 fee for all returned checks. Take I-43 south 27.6 miles and exit at WI-32 S/CR-H W (Exit 100). Turn left (south) onto WI-32. Take the first right onto W. Seven Hills Rd/CR-LL. Take the first Driveway on the left into the strip mall at Sentry Foods. Lakeshore Veterinary is a few doors down to the right of Sentry Foods. DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE From Milwaukee: Hwy 43 North to Exit 128 for WI-42 Sheboygan/ Howards Grove. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto WI-42 S. Turn left onto N 40th St. Take the first right onto Heather Valley Rd. Heather Valley Rd. turns left and become Enterprise Drive. Continue straight onto Najacht Rd.; club will be on left. From Green Bay: Hwy 43 North to Exit 128 for WI-42 Sheboygan/ Howards Grove. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto WI-42 S. Follow directions above. RV/camping overnight parking at the site will be available but it must be approved by Trial Chair. Send email to [email protected] All dogs must be on a short leash and under control while on trial grounds. Approved collars include flat snap or buckle collars of solid construction and leather or nylon leads. Limited slip martingale collars are allowed. Single piece slip collars/leads are allowed. Harnesses, with the exception of headhalter types, are allowed. Dogs MUST run “naked,” without a collar/harness. Collars/harnesses which can be easily and quickly removed and replaced are strongly encouraged. NO flexi-leads allowed. Please bring a secure crate for your dog to relax in during times when they are not in the ring or are left unattended. There is no smoking in this facility or on the grounds. If you must smoke, you will need to do so inside your vehicle and dispose of the butts in the vehicle also. Dog exercise areas will be marked, please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in appropriate containers outside the building. Hotels/Motels that may accept dogs.Owners assume full responsibility. Early reservations are recommended. Please check with hotels before registering. SDTC reserves the right to change run order based on entries. Dogs will be run in height order, dogs being handled by the same person will be separated into different staged groups. Running/ Schedule: Small to Large-Friday/Sunday, Large to Small - Saturday. HEIGHT DIVISIONS Dogs 13" and under small Dogs 13.1 to 18" medium Dogs over 18" large AWARDS: Rosettes will be awarded for first through fourth place in Novice, Open, Senior, and Master classes in each height division. Ribbons will be awarded for all qualifiers in the regular classes and the Instinct Test. High In Class rosettes will be offered in Novice, Open, Senior, and Master classes. Title rosettes will be awarded to all dogs earning a title. Rosettes also given for all RATCH and RATCHX's. These trials will be held indoors in Dnair conditioned/heated facility. There will be crating space available but make sure your crate is secure as the dogs may be highly excited. Please be considerate about picking up after your dogs and leaving the grounds as you found them. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement per BHA regulations. Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept separate from all other dogs and will be run in panties at the end of their class/trial. Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded until closing time of the trial if you wish to withdraw. After the trial closes on April 22, 2014, entry fees will not be refunded. If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the trial committee prior to the trial, and you must inform all exhibitors at the judge’s briefing. Loud/Disruptive dogs Dogs that are loud and disruptive may be asked to locate away from the rings/crating area and/or staged away from the other dogs getting ready to compete. Any dog behaving in a threatening or aggressive manner toward another dog or a person may be dismissed from the trial if justification is found to do so by the judge and/or trial committee. Terrier sparring is not allowed on trial grounds. Any dog that is sick, injured or lame will be excused from the trial grounds. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Food: We will have a variety of breakfast and lunch items for sale. Official photography will be provided by our Club's Photography Committee. Members will be taking pics throughout the trials.
