LEVEL 2 - RESIDENTS OF BRUSSELS DON’T PAY THE ENROLMENT FEE
These modules help you to develop your oral skills and sharpen your
listening skills. We discuss up-to-date topics and we develop your listening.
A wide range of daytime, evening and Saturday courses with a frequency of 1 or 2 times per week.
Aptitude (NT2) & placement test: in May, June, August and September 2015. Appointment can be made on our website www.cvo-bec.be.
Beginners French, English, Spanish, Italian and German can enrol online.
The February 2016 program is available from 16/11/2015.

Every person who wishes to enrol must present proof of

Beginners in Dutch: candidates are required to take an
aptitude test before they can start a beginners course
Beginners in French, English, Italian, German and Spanish:
candidates can enrol online for a beginners course.
Candidates with prior knowledge of the target language are
required to take a placement test to determine their level.
Candidates with a Brussels Education Center certificate or
a certificate from any other Centre for Adult Education can
continue their language studies at the following level.
By enrolling you give the center permission to consult all
necessary documents related to your studies in order to
complete your registration in compliance with LED (Leer- en
ervaringsbewijzendatabank = www.ond.vlaanderen.be/led)
Upon enrolment please present your identity card, residence
permit or passport.
The enrolment fee must be paid at the Brussels Education
Center administrative office immediately after the aptitude
or placement test has been completed and the timetable has
been determined.
We only accept payment by debit or credit card (Bancontact/
Mr Cash/Visa).
Lessons can be attended only after payment of the enrolment fee.
Enrolment fees are not refunded to any student who wishes
to cancel or discontinue the course.
The enrolment fee does not include the course materials.
Books and/or syllabi are purchased in class during the first
week of the course.

Parking V.U.B. Campus
Students who wish to park their car on campus are required to register
their number plates at the administration office of the Brussels Education
Center. The Vrije Universiteit Brussel charges 35 euros for this facility (this
charge is subject to change without prior notice). We only accept payment
by debit or credit card.
Who are we?
The Brussels Education Center registers on average 9,000 language
students each year. More than 80 teachers are committed to providing
our students with excellent courses. Our language center is located on
Brussels University (V.U.B.) campus, but courses can be attended at other
locations such as Het Huis van het Nederlands Brussel, K.A.E. Hiel Schaarbeek or at our campuses at Pleinlaan 9 and 11 and Triomflaan 174 near
metro station Delta.
Learning languages together
From China to Poland, from Bolivia to Norway: in class you’ll meet
students from all over the world who, just like you, wish to improve their
ability to communicate in a foreign language. Students are encouraged
to invest sufficient time outside class to improve their language skills.

Training Cheques (New rules from 01/03/2015)
Students can use training cheques to pay for part of the enrolment fee
and part of the course material. The training cheques must be applied
for within 2 months after the start of the course.
