RE: Web Rangers Philippines - Possible DepED NCR Student Participation

Firstly, it is my pleasure to inform you that the Web Rangers Philippines Program, an
anti-cyber bullying initiative in the Philippines, was launched today. I would Ilke to express my
gratitude to DepEd for its generous support of the concept thus far.
The aims of the prol;lram are threefold: to 1) raise awareness of the important issue of
cyberhullying; 2) encourage young people (ages 14-18) in the Philippines to become
proactive contributors to the conversation; and 3) provide them with skills to lead an online
issue-advocacy campaign. Thus far Google has organized Web Rangers programs fn New
Zealand, Israel and India.
We would be bonored if you agreed to encourage CepEd NCR slY dents to sign up for
