Cotton Initiative 2015 Exhibition
The Cotton Initiative 2015 Exhibition will provide a venue for students not presenting collections in Art2Wear to present their
work. It will provide not only a highly visible reward for the student designers who are selected to exhibit their work, but also
an educational opportunity to inform the public about the artistic possibilities of cotton.
To Participate in the Cotton Initiative 2015 Exhibition, you must:
- Be a currently enrolled student at NC State University
- Use a minimum of 60% cotton in the works displayed
- The pieces submitted must have been completed within a fibers course within the Art+Design department at NC State
University during the Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 semesters (course must have ADN as prefix).
Entry Requirements: applications due by March 29, 2015
- Fill out the attached application form with personal information and images of each piece
- Each student may submit up to 5 pieces for consideration
- Pieces must illustrate a final design. They may be either finished or in process but enough process must have been completed to give jury confidence in choosing final piece.
- If accepted, piece MUST be completely finished, mounted, ready for installation and dropped off Professor Diuguid’s office
(Leazar 408) by Monday, April 13, 2015.

Rewards:
One Prize valued at $500 and two prizes valued at $250.
