You caught me reminiscing about how we
begun with the original concept of supplying
mattresses and pillows for government agencies
throughout Malaysia. Back then, our goal was to
deliver the highest quality at the lowest possible
cost. Today, Pointray is setting standards that
others try to emulate. Everyday we try to offer
even higher levels of service.
In a commercial world of mass production and
uniformity, there is nothing more inspiring than
an environment created especially for you. Hence
we are expanding our dedication and inspiration
towards Interior Design. Pointray is committed
to a ONE STOP SOLUTION from conceptualization
to delivery of the final product, ably supported
by the rich expertise of our team in the many
subsidiary companies. To achieve this goal, we
had taken further forward step to set up our
team in agribusiness, IT, transportation and
aviation industry. We believe that our product is
extremely competitive both in terms of quality
and cost as we have our very own manufacturing
and production facilities.

The Company’s foundations
were established in 1992, with
full operations starting in mid
1994. POINTRAY (Malaysia)
Sdn Bhd is a 100% bumiputera
company holding the central
contract by the Government
of Malaysia for the supply of
mattresses and pillows for the
whole of government agencies
of Peninsular Malaysia.
Dedication and excellent product quality awarded
POINTRAY renewable contracts by the Malaysian
Government to supply top quality foam mattresses
and pillows to government agencies. In recognition
for our patriotism, the Company was also awarded
the contract to supply bedding materials to all the
National Service Training Centres (Pusat Latihan
Khidmat Negara) by the Ministry of Defense.

The Company’s commitment in International standards and high quality service was recognized when
POINTRAY received two accolades from the Editorial Office Trade Leader’s Club in Madrid, Spain. The first is the
New Millenium Award For Technology given in 2001 and the second is the Golden Europe Award For Quality
given in 2003.
Though POINTRAY is a small and medium industry (SMI) company with the paid up capital of RM3 million and
allowed capital of RM5 million, the management is continuously keeping up with technological evolution that
promotes time and cost effective production of our core products.

Amongst the steps taken to further enhance the
quality, of our products, POINTRAY has signed an MOU
with Textile Company of Pakistan in order to procure
state-of-the-art technology and training for the
production of top range textile products.
As an aggressive leading company in the industry,
POINTRAY has expanded to become the parent
company of other successful enterprises such as
our construction firm; Dejed Malindo Sdn. Bhd., our
marketing consultancy and advice solutions branch;
POINTRAY Management Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. and
our arm in producing and exporting metal and PVC
based chairs; Due to the fast expanding of economic
activities and in line with policy of strength through
diversification, POINTRAY has ventured into various
service oriented business as well as IT and aviation.

It is the policy of Pointray to manufacture quality products based foam and textile to fulfill its contractual
obligations to all its customers. Pointray shall strive to consistently meet the quality standards predetermined
in the process of production itself with full responsibility, due to conscientiousness and efficiency. To be the
leading and dynamic foam manufacturer, we have adopted the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system,
which will ensure a planned, systematic and proactive approach to quality in all aspect of our work.
In Pointray we adopt a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Our motto has always been “Quality
In Production, Success In Return”. The consistent application of modified quality check accordingly has made
our product “The choice” for all our customers.
Pro-activeness at all levels is applied to all our departments. Our staff have direct communication with top
management to ensure all problems encountered will be resolved according to our standard procedure.
