INDUSTRIAL-DRUID HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & TUSCALOOSA REUNION CLUB GRAND REUNION REGISTRATION & FEE Registration fee for adults 21 and over is $125.00 per person. All events are covered in the reunion fee, with exception of the Ads and T-shirts. If you are interested in purchasing a T-shirt, please refer to your registration form. It is a Pleasure and an Honor to serve as the Host City for The Tuscaloosa Reunion Club as well as our Industrial-Druid High School Biannual Grand Reunion. We are thrilled and excited about our plans for the 2015 Reunion scheduled on July 2-5, 2015. One of our activities this year will include a Red, White and Blue Parade, and we are excited about the possibility of having participation of all available classes and/or neighborhoods to enter this special display of hometown affection. As you know, this will be our first year to recognize Lifetime members of the Industrial-Druid High School Alumni Association and this is the 50th Year Celebration for the National Tuscaloosa Reunion Club. The function of the Association shall be to preserve the history and traditions of the Industrial-Druid High School; provide activities, communications, and other services for alumni and other members of the Association; promote and support educational and ancillary programs for the Tuscaloosa area; and engage in a partnership to carryout the mission of The Industrial-Druid High School Alumni Association Education Foundation, Inc. McDonald Hughes Community Center Free Community Health Fair 10AM - 2PM The Industrial-Druid High School Alumni Association Education Foundation, Incorporated was organized and incorporated by the State of Alabama on July 31, 2009. The foundation received 501 (c) (3), non-profit status by the Internal Revenue Service on August 28, 2012, retroactive to the date of incorporation. The purpose of the Foundation is to award scholarships to deserving students by soliciting, managing and distributing supplemental funds to deserving students for educational advancement. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit corporation governed by a board of directors. The club was organized in late 1964 by JOSEPH AND NINA STEELE. The celebration of the first event was held April 1965 at the Crispus Attucks American Legion Post #1268. Reunions occurred in Chicago each year in April at the same location. In 1972 and 1973, invitations were extended to other known Tuscaloosaians residing in other states to attend the celebration. In 1976 Tuscaloosians from Tuscaloosa, Alabama answered the call to host the first reunion in the hometown. The club has since returned to T-town every five years. Mr. & Mrs. Steele still reside in Chicago and the National Tuscaloosa Reunion Club will celebrate its 50 years of existence in T-town July 2-5, 2015. Mr. Leroy Dunson, Jr. is currently the president of the National Tuscaloosa Reunion Club. MEMBERSHIP DUES Dance & Social Hour ~ 9PM –12M The annual membership fee for the Tuscaloosa Reunion Club is $50.00. If you are sponsored by a club member, your annual dues are $25.00.
