16th ANNUAL NCE-NJIT FLORIDA ALUMNI REUNION

The 16th Annual NCE-NJIT Florida Alumni Reunion will be held during the weekend of March 6-8, 2015, in the
famous “Treasure Coast” area of Florida, which includes St. Lucie and Martin counties. The 1st NCE-NJIT Florida
Alumni Reunion was held in the Heathrow-Lake Mary area of Central Florida in 2000. Today, our reunions typically
attract alumni from the classes of 1950’s thru 2010, plus coaches, teachers, family and friends. See photos below.

In March our alumni friends will bring the excitement of the 16th Alumni Reunion to the heart of Florida’s Treasure
Coast. Everything points to a remarkable weekend, as our records indicate that 40 or more alumni, coaches, friends,
and relatives are expected to participate in the many proposed activities. Those alumni who arrive on Friday afternoon
will be able to join us for a buffet dinner at Fernando’s Dock Side Grille in Port St. Lucie (house specialties are
Mediterranean and Portuguese foods). Please contact the Hampton Inn in Port St. Lucie for hotel reservations.
On Saturday, and after a light breakfast in our hotels, alumni and friends will gather at the Indian Riverside Park in
Jensen Beach to watch the soccer friendly between NJIT’s teams of Americans + Europeans against Latin Americans .
Also, be prepared to enjoy NJIT’s Picnic at the Park, which consists of burgers, hot dogs, potato salads, chips, and
much more. In addition, after the game and lunch at the park, alumni and friends will be returning to their hotels to
get ready for our special Saturday Night dinner/dancing activities at Cesar & Griselda’s home, which may include
dancing instructions by Maestros Hernan Chico Borja and wife. On Sunday morning some will gather for breakfast,
others will head home, and the brave will prepare for a fierce golf game.
