Read the Newspaper everyday. Then pick any 10 new words everyday and using a dictionary
write their meanings.
Write any one paragraph from the English book everyday.
MATHEMATICS




Write the number names from 1 to 1000.
Write the numerals from 1 to 1000.
Write the multiplication tables from 2 to 20. Also, learn the tables from 2 to 20 by heart.

Project: Make a chart, using pictures of freedom fighters of India.
Choose any 5 Indian festivals. Collect pictures from newspapers and magazines and write
down a few lines about each in the notebook.
Collect 10 leaves, paste them on the scrap book and write their names.
Prepare a chart by pasting: 5 each of wild animals, domestic animals and birds.


ACTIVITY

Read one story book each in English, Hindi and Tamil. Write a summary of the story you liked
the most and why.

If you visit any place during the holidays collect pictures of that place and write a few lines
about them.If you are not going anywhere then collect pictures of famous monuments in
Delhi and write a few lines about them.
Note: Please make a separate holiday homework notebook and do all the homework in that.
