Serger Class
DREAM MACHINE OWNERS – JUNE
June 9th 10-12:00 • FREE • Lecture/Demo
In this session of the owner’s class we will be covering
how to use decorative stitches in the machine, combining decorative stitches and making your own stitches.
RUFFLE SHORTS BY SERGER
June 27th 9:30-4:30 • $25 + $9.95 Pattern Fee • Hands-on
Learn to use your serger for construction sewing and
make a pair of cute ruffle shorts for little girls in the process! It’s the perfect time of year to learn this quick and
easy method for making shorts using your Brother 3034d or
5234d serger. Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
BROTHER 3034D & 5234 SERGER OWNERS

Come learn the basic features of these two great
sergers! We will learn how to set the machine up for different stitches, basic threading and troubleshooting.

different feet and accessories that come with the Dream
Machine and how they are used.
Sewing Classes
RUFFLE SHORTS BY SEWING MACHINE
June 13th 9:30-4:30 • $25 + $9.95 Pattern Fee • Hands-on
Use your sewing machine to create ruffle shorts for
the sweet little girls in your life! These shorts can be made
in sizes 2-10, plus the pattern can be used to make pants
or capris. Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
YO-YO HAND TOWEL
July 23rd 9:30-12:30 • $10 + $8.95 Pattern + $5.95 Kit
Come learn how to embellish a hand towel using fabric
yo-yo’s and your sewing machine. We will make the pineapple version of this cute pattern in class, but you will leave with
the pattern to make other fruit inspired designs. You will also
learn to make a ruffle to embellish the bottom of your towel.
Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
Quilting Class
QUILTED HERRINGBONE TABLE RUNNER
August 4th 9:30-4:30 • $25 • Hands-on
In this class you will make a small table runner, using a
simple technique that involves sewing strips of fabric together,
then cutting them on an angle to form the design. We will also
quilt and bind the table runner. This is a great class for beginning quilters! Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
Embroidery Classes
EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP:
HOW TO EMBROIDER ON A ONESIE
June 24th 10-12:30 • $10 • Hands-on
If you have ever tried to embroider on a Onesie then
you know how frustrating it can be. This class will help
take the frustration out of this task. In class we will hoop
a Onesie and embroider on it. You will leave feeling like
you could and hoop and embroidery on anything! Supply
list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
STABILIZING & HOOPING
July 25th 10-12 • $10 • Lecture
If you have problems figuring out what stabilizers are
best for your embroidery projects, then this class is for
you. In this class we will simplify stabilizers so that you
will know that your next embroidery project will turn out
just the way you hoped. We will also cover hooping basics and hard to hoop items. No supplies necessary.
EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP:
HOW TO EMBROIDER ON A TOWEL
July 29th 10-12:30 • $10 • Hands-on
Monogrammed towels make the perfect gift and they
look great hanging in your guest bathroom. However, if
you aren’t using the correct methods for doing machine
embroidery on them then you won’t get the great results
you should. This class will take care of all of your worries.
Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP:
COMMON EMBROIDERY MISTAKES
August 26th 10-12:00 • $10 • Lecture
Come learn from common embroidery mistakes
and maybe you won’t ever be the one to make them!
We will show examples of common mistakes and then
show the correct way to overcome them. We will even
provide some tips for fixing mistakes.

you must cancel at least two business days in advance.
If we must cancel a class due to weather or other reasons,

Scan N Cut Classes
MONOGRAMMED ANCHOR TEE
June 6th 10:00-12:30 • $10 • Hands-on
Summer time is the perfect time to make an embellished t-shirt complete with an anchor and your monogram. We will show you how to use your Scan N Cut and
Canvas software to complete this project. Supply list will be
given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
SCAN N CUT BASICS
July 18th 10-12 • Hands-on • FREE if purchased from us
We know we have a lot of new Scan N Cut owners
out there and this class is for you! In this session we will
cover the basic features and usage of the Brother Scan N
Cut. Supply list will be given upon registration, ages 16 and up.
KENTUCKY SHIRT WITH RHINESTONE KIT
August 22nd 10-12:30 • $10 + $5 Kit fee • Hands-on
Show your Kentucky pride and learn to use the
Rhinestone Kit for the Brother Scan N Cut. This class will
teach you how to create your own rhinestone design,
transfer it to your Scan N Cut, cut it, then apply it to the
shirt you bring with you to class. Supply list will be given upon
registration, ages 16 and up
GLASS ETCHED FRAME
September 12th 10-12:30 • $10 + $5 Kit fee • Hands-on
Bring an 8x10 picture frame to class with a glass insert and leave class with a personalized wall hanging.
In class we will use the Brother Scan N Cut to create a
personalized glass etching design, cut it out of vinyl and
then etch the glass in the picture frames. Supply list will be

PERSONALIZE & STITCH LETTERING SOFTWARE
June 11th 10-12 • $10 • Lecture
Come learn how to use this program to its fullest extent.
This class is a great time to ask questions about the program
and learn about all of it’s features. If you had registered for
this class in the winter, it was canceled due to snow, you can
come to this class as a make-up class. No supplies necessary.
PE DESIGN 10: MASTER THE BASICS
June 23rd 10-12 • $10 • Lecture
The best way to learn the PE-10 software is to get the
basics memorized. This class will show you all the basic
techniques of the software plus give you a chance to ask
questions. This class is a great way to learn all of the new
features of the PE-10 upgrade. No supplies necessary.
USING PE DESIGN 10 WITH YOUR SCAN N CUT
August 15th 10-12 • $10 • Lecture
Come explore all the ways you can use the PE-Design 10
software, the Scan N Cut Canvas software and your Brother
Scan N Cut together! If you own the PE-10 software and the
Scan N Cut then this class is for you! No supplies necessary.
