Beginner and Novice
will commence at 8:00 am.

Primary
will commence no earlier than 9:15 am.
Intermediate and Premier
will commence no earlier than 10:30 am
Change rooms available. There is to be no changing on the field. This is
traditionally a very hot day; please bring lawn chairs and protection from the sun.

PLEASE NOTE:
All dancers residing in the Thompson / Okanagan area are required to be
members of the Interior Highland Dance Association. Double entry fee
will be charged for the competition to Thompson/Okanagan dancers
without a current membership.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. All dancing events governed by the rules and regulations of the
Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance.
2. Age for all dancing events to be taken as of July 11, 2015.
3. Competitors will dance in reverse order of registration (first to
enter is last to dance).
4. Competition Committee reserves the right to combine or split
classes.
5. The decision of the judges is final.
6. Protests must be made in writing, signed and submitted to the
competition secretary by the end of the competition day and must
be accompanied by a $30.00 fee, refundable if sustained.
7. All category changes must be phoned to: Janet Hackman before
July 5, 2015.
8. All competitors must present current SOBHD registration card
before receiving their number. Awards will be held for any dancer
without a current SOBHD card.
9. Prizes: **Cash Prizes awarded in the 16 & Over Premier Classes
and medals in all other classes. A special prize will be awarded for
the Special Fling in Beginner and Novice.
10. $15.00 late entry fee will apply for any entries postmarked after
June 25, 2015.
11. There will be NO entry fee refunds.
12. Absolutely NO telephone, email or hand delivered entries.
13. Dancers residing in the Thompson /Okanagan area are required to
be members of the Interior Highland Dance Association. Double
entry fee will apply for those without a current membership.
14. Cheques or money orders payable to Interior Highland Dance
Association (IHDA).
15. ** The Special Fling does not count towards the aggregate. It is a
standard 4 step Fling that is awarded a Special prize.
