Ohio 45244. Make checks payable to “Cincinnati
Highland Dancers” or “CHD.” PLEASE PRINT. Entries
must be postmarked by October 15, 2014.

The competition will be conducted following S.O.B.H.D. rules. The judge’s decision is final.
First dancer to enter shall be last to dance.
Dancers must be in costume to accept awards.
Competitors not ready when their event is called will be disqualified from that dance.
The number of entries will determine age groupings.
Dancers must present 2014 registration card to compete.
A trophy will be awarded to the highest point winner in each age group. No trophy will be awarded to the
primary level. Medals will be awarded at the judge's discretion. A trophy will be awarded for Most Promising
Pre-Premier Dancer following the Morning awards.
Cash awards for all premier dancers! There will be a dance off for dancer of the day.
Choreography Competition: Maximum time of 3 minutes includes setup of props. CD or iPod. CASH
PRIZES. See SOBHD constitution for a complete list of choreography rules.
Competition music will be from recordings. Tracks used will be the judge’s choice.

General Rules:
Amateur Tests and Fees are set by the BATD. Check with your teacher to determine testing level.
All students of non-BATD teachers MUST add $1 per test as per the BATD.
Checks should be made payable to Cincinnati Highland Dancers (CHD).
Exact time of test will be determined by applications received. You will be notified of your exam
time(s) once scheduled.
