Competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of
W.O.H.D.A. and S.O.B.H.D.
Judges decision is final.
Directions to the High School: From Toronto: Hwy 401 W to Hwy 402 to
Wonderland Rd exit., take Wonderland Rd N. straight through the city to Oxford Street,
turn left onto Oxford Street W, school is down on left (south) side. From Sarnia: Hwy
402 E to County Rd 14 (Glendon Drive), follow Glendon Drive/County Rd 14 turns into
Oxford Street West. From Windsor: Hwy 401 E to Colonel Talbot Rd (exit 177B), take
Colonel Talbot Rd north to Southdale Rd, turn left (west) onto Southdale Rd. Follow
Southdale to Boler Rd, turn right, follow Boler Road, over bridge to Oxford Street West,
turn right onto Oxford Street. School is down on right side.
Registration
Beginner, Novice and Primary registration is at 8:30am.
Competition to start at 9:00am with the Fling
Intermediate and Premier registration is at 12:00pm.
Dancers should be prepared to start at 12:30pm with the Fling.

Primary:Pas de Basques, Pas De Basques & High Cuts, Fling (4)

Age groups will be determined by WOHDA prior to the competition to ensure
a fair distribution of dancers in each group. WOHDA reserves the right to
combine age groups.
A minimum of (6) dancers constitute a group. Medals are awarded to two
places less the number of dancers dancing, up to a maximum of six places.

and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against WOHDA, its Districts, Executive or the
organizing committee for any/all injuries suffered by me or any member of my family or group at any/all events.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
By proceeding with this registration, I agree to the following:
I am aware that participating in the WOHDA events involves the potential for risks, dangers and hazards
including but not limited to: physical and other injuries and losses to me and/or my child in the course of dance
competition or at all and the potential for unauthorized photographs and video and other footage to be taken
of me and/or my child in contravention of policies relating to this event and notwithstanding the best efforts of
organizers to enforce these policies.
In consideration of WOHDA, its directors, agents, employees, executive members, and volunteers and the
organizers of the WOHDA Event (the “RELEASEES”) agreeing to my and/or my child’s participation in the
WOHDA event and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
acknowledged, I hereby agree TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I or my child have or may have in the future
against the RELEASEES AND TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or
expense, including death, and including any loss that may arise from unauthorized photographing or taking of
video or other footage of either me and/or my child.
I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, damage, injury or expense, including
legal costs, that they may incur due to my child’s participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence
of Releasees or otherwise, and whether caused to my child or otherwise.
By submitting this entry, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement carefully and fully understand it and
agree to all the above terms and conditions.

JUNIOR AND SENIOR PREMIER DANCERS
WOHDA & its Districts (the “Organizers”) reserve the right to cancel the “Event”, or any part thereof, at any
time if the Organizers deem such cancellation to be necessary due to events beyond its control or should it
become necessary to cancel the Event at the Organizers’ sole discretion (the “Cancellation”). The Organizers
shall not be responsible to any purchaser and/or attendees for any direct or indirect financial loss caused as a
result of the Cancellation including, but not limited to, airfare, hotel deposits, entry fees, and tickets. The
purchaser and/or attendees agree to indemnify and save harmless the Organizers from all claims arising from
the Cancellation

Presentation of the dance J.L. McKenzie, by the applicants for
the J.L. McKenzie Scholarship
This performance is open to Registered Premier Dancers only;
the prize is up to $1,000.00, which is to be used for furthering
your highland dance commitment. All applicants can perform
the dance “Tribute to J.L. McKenzie” at this competition –
please bring your own music.
Dancers can download the application at
www.scotdancecanada.ca An Executive Member of WOHDA will
sign the application once a dancer has completed the dance.
All signed applications must be submitted by April 15, 2015 to
ScotDance Canada.
