FUSTA Reg #: USMW 0220 MICHIGAN CELTIC CLASSIC FALL 6th ANNUAL FALL HIGHLAND DANCE COMPETITION SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2014 American Legion Hall, 46146 Cass Ave, Utica, MI 48317 Competition Information: Registration for all categories of dancers will begin at 8:30 A.M. and end at 9:15 A.M. The competition will start at 9:30 A.M. with the Beginner and Novice Flora, followed by Primary Pas de Basques, then Intermediate Hornpipe and Premier Village Maid. Dances will be competed in order listed below. Choreography will be at conclusion of Premier Barracks, prior to awards. Choreography max of 3 min. Please email music to [email protected] by November 12th or bring cued music on iPod or CD. If entries warrant, competition will be divided into split day with Intermediate and Premier beginning at noon. Dancers and teachers will be notified of time change via email by November 12th. If day is split, choreography will be immediately following the Novice Trews before morning awards. Competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of S.O.B.H.D. Age groups will be determined by entries received. The decision of the judge is final. Entry fees to be mailed to Celtic Classic, 39491 Parklawn, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Registrations will be confirmed via eMail within 10-days of receipt. All checks to be made payable to “QSDA”. Dance numbers will be provided at registration. Entrance fee to competition $5 per person (12 and over). Children under 12 enter free. Concessions provided by QSDA. Designed for pre-primary or pre-beginner dancers to have more opportunities to perform and get experience prior to competing (if they choose to one day). Each demonstration dancer will get a participation award and a certificate, but will not be scored, receive points, placings or medals.
