Seattle Dream church started the cup noodle concert in 2012 and now it has become a joint ministry among area CRC churches. Bring canned food or cup noodles for the entrance fee. Food donations will go to the food pantry ministry of Mill Creek CRC, and cash donation will support the homeless through the Aurora Commons, the ministry of Awake CRC. If you are a visitor or new to our church, please take a moment to fill out a visitor’s card when the prayer clipboards are passed around and place it in the offering basket. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers through age 3, located in the hallway of the entryway. Prayer Clipboards During the offering, we ask that the prayer clipboards be passed around. There are three sections of chairs for seating and three clipboards, please keep the clipboard in your section as you pass it around. Children’s Bulletins are available on the table by the door in the entry way for the younger children. CONGREGATIONAL LIFE This morning we welcome Pastor Peter Mans as our guest pastor. We pray for God’s blessing on us as he brings us the message from God’s word. The next two weeks Brian Hofman will bring us the message. Today we welcome Brian Hofman and his wife Tess into the family of Faith and commission Brian as our summer intern. We invite you to stay following our service for our pot luck and have an opportunity to fellowship with them. Anderson Shepherd Group is in charge of set up and clean up. Summer Bible Study: We have asked our Seminarian to lead a Bible Study this summer if there is an interest in our congregation to have one. A sign up sheet is on the desk in the foyer and a spot to say what day of the week is good for you. Sign up if interested. Faith extends our sympathy to Sheri and Dean Anderson and family in the death of Sheri’s father this past week. We pray for God’s comfort and peace for the extended family. Faith will be saying good by to a couple of our families this month. Mark and Abbey Tebb will be moving to Tacoma because of a job opportunity. Next week will be their last Sunday with us. Cake will be served following our service to honor them. Also Chris Brandon took a job within the Forest Dept. in Yakima and the family will be moving sometime this month. We will greatly miss them but pray that God will richly bless these families as they relocate in a new area. The Church camp-out is coming up in August and we need at least one more person to help out on the committee. Please contact Joanne Lagerwey if you are interested. The Missions Team has assigned all the members of Faith to be a part of our prayer ministry for our missionaries and the ministries we support. If you do not wish to be included, or if you need to change a week that you have been assigned, please contact the office or Ken Davis. Special Prayer Requests: - Pray for comfort and peace for Dean and Sheri Anderson and the extended family in the death of Sheri’s father. - Pray for safety on the roads as we travel near and sometimes long distances with our jobs. - Continued prayer for Sienne Ackermann, Larry VanderPol, for Buser’s son-in -law Matt as they are receiving chemo treatments. Pray for Shirley Nelson as she begins treatment for cancer. - Pray for Godly wisdom for the Wicklund family as to care needs for Joe, Gloria’s father-in-law. Bless them as they begin ministry with us this summer. - Gloria gives thanks for your prayers and for being able to come home from the hospital. - Praise God for a good report and check up for Ann VanderWal and Rita and Tom’s son-in-law Matt. - Praise God for the opportunities given to Future Impact to share the message of truth to the youth in our high schools and we pray they will respond to that message. - Praising God for his faithfulness and for the peace He gives us. - Praise for each new day and for birthdays, a mother turning 90 and for her good health.
