First time? Check In Anniversary sunday
August 28, 2016
This morning we will
continue teaching on
the Baptism of the
Holy Spirit. Today we
will focus on the Gifts of
the Holy Spirit. This was
requested by several
people to be part of the
Ask the Pastor series.
Next week will be our
last week on this topic.
First time?
Anniversary sunday
If this is your first time with us,
we’re glad you’re here. Thank
you for coming. Please take
a minute and fill out a
Connection Card and take it
to the Connection Table in the
lobby for a free gift.
Check In
Take a minute
every Sunday to
check in at the
church on your
Facebook
status. Share something
positive. This is free marketing
exposure to all your friends.
We will be celebrating our 22nd
Anniversary on September 11
with Guest Speaker Dominic
Russo. A grand celebration is
planned with a reception following. Start inviting friends and
family to be with us. Its going to
be a great service. Come celebrate and help us pay tribute to
what God has done.
Opportunity & Reward

opportunity for individuals to
shape young lives by ministering
in our nursery once a month. We
especially need help through the
summer months. If interested,
see Pilar Ferry.

you to grow in
your faith as we launch our
Elevate program, a series of four
foundational classes that will be
held at 9am on Sunday mornings beginning September 25.

Prayer
from the Pastor’s Heart
With Labor Day approaching, we are looking forward to getting
back into the routine of the Fall schedule and our passionate
pursuit of God’s presence. As you do, God promises that He will
refresh you and cause you to flourish. Psalm 92:12–14 (NKJV) The
righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar
in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD.
Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in
old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing.
FAMIlY lIFE
Nursery
We’ve prepared a special place for kids
5 yrs. and under during our 11am service.
Since our service is designed for adults,
we believe you and your child will have
a more positive experience if you take
advantage of our nursery. Those seated
around you will appreciate your thoughtfulness. Ages 3-5 will receive age
appropriate teaching and ministry. Our
nurseries are located down the hall east
of the sanctuary.
Youth services
will resume on
Sunday, September 4. Teens will
be dismissed following worship to receive
ministry on their level.
