John Justin continues to serve in youth and children’s ministry in Embangweni. Praise God that many boys are attending the Christian meetings at Robert Laws School and that the local Sunday School children took the whole service Sunday past including the talk. Pray for guidance for the youth leaders in the congregation and for John as he teaches at the local teacher training college. Craigavon Presbyterian Church (Rev. Lachlan Webster)... Sadly, Craigavon Presbyterian Church has experienced two serious arson attempts on the church building over the past three weeks. Lachlan writes, “We are grateful to God that both attempts failed and we ask that you would pray for God’s continuing protection for us as a congregation. We have experienced several significant encouragements over the past few months and we are very conscious of the evil one reacting to the blessings we have received.” Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken ~ Psalm 55:22. Pray that there will be no further arson attacks on the church building, that the congregation would be protected and the ongoing life and witness of the congregation would continue to flourish. Sunday School, Bible Class and c4u... Give thanks for the dedication and commitment of Helena Porter and the Sunday School teachers and the c4u leaders. Pray for the children and young people as they prepare to take part in Young People’s Day through singing, reading and prayers. Carers... Please continue to remember in your prayers all those who provide vital support and care to vulnerable people living in our society whether that is through home care packages, community nursing and psychiatric care or through family relationships. May they also know the support and presence of the Living God with them as they care for those in need.
