Fiscal Year 2014 Annual Report
Mission Statement
The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas provides hunger relief to people in need by raising awareness,
securing resources, and distributing food through a network of non-profit agencies and programs.
2014 Accomplishments
The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas distributed 5.3 million pounds of food and grocery product to over
111 charitable agencies and programs in a 12 county area. This distribution included programs such as
the Sr. Pack Program, the Backpack Program serving over 525 children in nine communities, Commodity
Distributions in 11 counties, retail outlet food reclamation and produce gleaning. In 2014, the Food Bank
of Northeast Arkansas distributed more food than any other year in its 30 year history.
In November 2014, the Food Bank celebrated being in the new Donald W. Reynolds Charitable Food
Distribution Center for two years.
