We are members of Arts United and Indiana Federation of Art.
The Guild is a non-profit organization and operated to
conduct, support, encourage, and assist charitable and
educational programs in and around our community.
Therefore we donate yearly to the arts program at St

Judge & Workshop
Kathryn Clark
www.kathrynclarkfineart.com
Our judge and workshop instructor this year is
Kathryn Clark from Brookston, IN. In undergraduate school at Wittenberg Univ., she had a BFA dual
major in Printmaking and Ceramics, with her MFA
in Printmaking from Wayne State Univ. After
school, she and her husband founded Twinrocker
Handmade Paper and were instrumental in the revival of hand papermaking in America. During
those years, she developed many techniques using
cotton paper pulp to create artistic imagery of which
her personal works were mainly non-objective, employing some collage. She exhibited those art works
across the US and in England, Austria and Italy. In
the 1980’s, they developed fine drawing and watercolor papers which led to her interest in painting
and drawing. Her paintings and drawings have won
many awards including those from the Hoosier Salon, Indiana Heritage Arts and the Indiana Artist
Club. They can be seen at the Brown County Art
Guild in Nashville, the Hoosier Salon in Carmel, in
invitational exhibitions and in her Brookston studio
by appointment. She welcomes you to join her
monthly email newsletter on her web site.
