The Artist Guild of Lockport Artwork Submission Form: TAGOL|Rhythm and Hues Show
The TAGOL|Rhythm and Hues Show is a themed show. All artwork that represents Songs and/or Song Titles are eligible and
welcome to participate. We are looking for your best artwork to represent our Artist Guild.
Eligibility
All members of The Artist Guild of Lockport are eligible to submit their artwork/photography/sculpture. TAGOL Member Youth
K thru 12th grade may also participate in this show. Youth art will be displayed in The Flower of Life Art Gallery loft area.
Submission Size Restrictions: All artwork including frame, maximum size 30” x 30”.
All Submissions must provide the following information:

Fees
There is a $30 hanging fee per artwork/photographic piece or a $40 hanging fee for two pieces, due no later then March 19th.
Participating artists will receive (1) one show catalog included with their fee payment. Participating youth will not receive a show
catalog and no fee payment is required. ALL exhibitors must include a signed Artist Release - Waiver of Liability form.*
Deadline for fee payment: Saturday, March 19th, 2016 (cash, check or PayPal)
*Fee payments will be used to provide TAGOL advertising, show catalogs and for opening reception refreshments.
Delivery of art images: All images must be emailed no later than Saturday, March 19th, 2016 by 7pm to be included in the show
and/or show catalog. Images must be a jpg file with a minimum resolution of 300dpi and a minimum of size of 1650 x 1650.
Failure to provide reproduction-quality material by the deadline given will cause your entry to be excluded from the catalog.
The strict deadline date must proceed our typical “Gallery Opening Reception” to allow for catalog printing and website creation.
*Please ask for help if you need photography or Photoshop guidance.*
Delivery of artwork: Saturday, April 16th, The Flower of Life Art Gallery will begin accepting show art. All works must arrive no
later than Sunday, April 17th by 7pm to be included in the show.

Gallery Presentation
All works must be shown in a professional manner.
There are no minimum requirements for drawings, paintings or photographs, but the maximum size is 30” x 30”.
All works on paper must be matted and framed, and behind either glass or Plexiglas.
Works on painted panels or other surfaces must have smooth finished edges.
Works on gallery wrapped canvases must have finished edges, and all other canvases must be framed, with frames
sturdy enough to support the weight of the work. (No staples showing)
All framed works must arrive clean with attached wire hangers ready for hanging. Saw tooth and D-ring hangers
will NOT be accepted.

I, the above named, hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to any participation in the
TAGOL eGallery Show or The Flower of Life Art Gallery Exhibition during April/May of 2016.
The Artist warrants and represents that he or she is the sole legal owner of all right, title and
interest in all Artwork, including all related intellectual property interests such as trademarks
and the sole and exclusive copyright in all artwork, and has the full right and authority to
enter this Agreement and grant the rights granted in this Agreement.
Waiver of Liability:
I do hereby expressly release and hold harmless the parties listed below,
The Artist Guild of Lockport (TAGOL)
The Flower of Life Art Gallery
and all of its staff, volunteers, and guild member artists, individually and collectively, from
liability for all damages to or for the loss of the art work that I am voluntarily submitting.
It is recommended that artists carry their own insurance. All reasonable care will be taken with
original art. By entry into this show, the artist is agreeing that The Flower of Life Art Gallery and
TAGOL will not be held responsible for loss or damage of any works.
I do hereby release and hold harmless the above listed parties from any claim arising from and
usage of the facilities.
I HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE POLICIES AS STATED ABOVE.
