Every Sunday in Church, Every Night in Every
Home: FAITH5 and Intergenerational Worship
K EYNOTE S PEAKER
D R . R ICH M ELHEIM
Think about it. There are six living generations in the
US today and only two places where we all come and
sit together: sports arenas and church. So why do we
send the little ones away after the children's sermon?
What if we could design worship experiences that
combine the wisdom of the elder and the wonder of
the child? If you believe children who worship with
their parents are
the ones most
likely to attend
church when they
become adults,
you may wish to
join us in a conversation about new resources for creating worshipful
and educational experiences in Cross+Generation
worship.
Rich Melheim grew up on the plains of North Dakota
but never did own a pick up with a gun rack.
We can also show you a simple technique to (a) Help
your families create daily faith development experiences and (b) Equip parents to become the primary
spiritual guide for their children. Works for small
groups, too!
Melheim is the founder and initiating force behind
Faith Inkubators, a Christian education systems design
think tank. He is the founder and serves as CEO and
Chief Creative Officer of
Faith Inkubators, the
Faith Inkubators Foundation, and the Preschool
Incubators Project, a
new entity dedicated to
creating "access to excellence" in early learning
through the arts.
