Uniform Letter 22.04.2015 - Grazebrook Primary School
Grazebrook Primary School Lordship Road, London N16 0QP Telephone: 0208 802 4051 Fax: 0208 442 5202 [email protected] Executive Headteacher: Mrs Michelle Thomas Head of School: Mr Derek Hewie nd Wednesday 22 April 2015 Dear Parents / Carers, Re: School Uniform As you are aware, we pride ourselves on the fact that our children wear the Grazebrook school uniform. We are all very proud to be part of the school and to be part of its community. It has now been almost seven years since the school introduced the uniform and so for all of our children, these have always been the clothes that they have worn to school. Every single child in the school from Reception to Year 6 wears their Grazebrook jumper, polo shirt, pinafore and bottoms to school each day. Whilst this is the case with clothing, there are still a number of children who attend school wearing shoes that are not part of the school uniform. I would like to remind you that the children should be wearing plain black shoes to school each day as part of their uniform. On a PE day, the children should be wearing either plain black or plain white trainers with their PE uniform. On no occasion should the children be wearing shoes of any other colour other than on a nonuniform day. As a reminder, the full school uniform, according to the School Uniform Policy, is as follows; Grazebrook Primary School Uniform: • Blue Grazebrook crew neck sweatshirt/sweat cardigan • Light Blue polo shirt/pinafore dress • Black school trousers/shorts/skirt grey socks with black flat sensible school shoes (shoes are to be plain with no coloured logos, plain black trainers are acceptable) Blue Grazebrook book bag Optional blue Grazebrook zip fleece and waterproof jacket Grazebrook Primary School PE Uniform: • • • • Light Blue Grazebrook T-shirt Black PE shorts or track-suit bottoms Black or White Plimsolls/trainers Grazebrook gym bag to keep these in at school In keeping with our promotion of healthy living, a PE Kit should be worn for After School sporting clubs. All PE kits should be free from any logo or brand name, apart from the school logo. If you have queries regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me. Best wishes, Derek Hewie Head of School
