Droppinq off and Collecting The school day starts at 8.45 am. Please make sure children arrive at school between 8.30 and 8.45 am (not before). They should come into school from the playground when the bell rings. Please say goodbye to children on the playground and allow them to come in on their own. Children should be collected from their classes. Uniform To make sure all the children are looking snrart we request they wear the following uniform: . School jumper or cardigan (maroon). Please note that black jumperslcardigans are not part of our school uniform . White polo shirt . Black or grey trousers (no jogging bottoms) e Black school shoes (no heels, wedges or trainers) School shoes will be worn inside school and children will only be changing their shoes if it is wet and they are going on the field at lunchtime. Children may bring wellies or an extra pair of trainers to school on a Wednesday to use at lunchtime. PE Kit: We would like children to have their PE kit and trainers in school every day, in case lessons need to be rearranged. . School yellow t-shirts (available from the office) or plain white i-shirt . . . Black/navy blue shorts Tracksuit bottoms for winter A pair of trainers for PE (separate to school shoes and outdoor playtime shoes). Children cannot do PE in their school shoes. Swimming will take place on Wednesday afternoons. Korky Paul Year 314 class (Mrs. Melvin) will be swimming until Easter, followed by Jeremy Strong Year 314 class (Mrs. Coakley/Mrs. Taylor) in the Summer Term. PE is a requirement of the national curriculum and all children are expected to take part in lessons. Unless we have a note from home, or have spoken to a parenUcarer, children will be expected to take part in PE lessons. Music We ask for those children who have got permission to take home their violins, violas or cellos to practise and then bring them back on Wednesday. Homework Homework will continued be sent home weekly on a Friday and should be given in on a Wednesday morning. Homework will be marked on Wednesday so homework that is returned late will not be marked. Parent helpers We would welcome any parent volunteers to come and support the children within the classroom.
