GENERAL RACE GUIDELINES:
1.
All race decisions of the Honor Run officials prevail on
event day.
2.
Runners must wear their bib numbers on front of their
bodies.
3.
No bicycles, roller-skates/blades or skateboards. Baby
strollers allowed in and must stay behind runners.
4.
No unauthorized assistance or unsportsmanlike conduct. No
foul, harsh, argumentative language or actions directed at
officials, volunteers, spectators or fellow athletes.
5.
No headsets allowed while competing in the events.
6.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed in the park.
7.
Participants are responsible for following the course and all
directional signage & arrows provided to them, any
deviation from the course disqualifies you from award
categories.
8.
RACE DAY WEATHER POLICY: While we realize that
each participant has made a tremendous commitment, the
primary goal of Harborside Academy is to ensure a safe
event. Therefore, Harborside Academy staff will make
decisions regarding race cancellation/modifications based on
the safety of all that are involved, including the runners,
volunteers, spectators and the community. Specifically,
Harborside reserves the right to cancel or to modify the race
if deemed necessary to protect runners, volunteers,
spectators and the community. These conditions will be
recognized as unforeseeable acts. Since the staging of the
race results in substantial up-front expenses regardless of
whether or not the race is completed, cancellation or
modification of the race will not result in the refunding of
race entry fees or future race credits. However, should the
race be cancelled you will receive a donation
acknowledgment from Harborside Academy allowing you to
claim your entry fee as a donation, to the full extent that the
law allows. SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS
INCLUDE: Thunderstorms, Lightning, Extreme Heat &
Humidity, High Winds, and/or Heavy Rain

In consideration of the foregoing, I, for myself, executors and
administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for
damages I may have against KUSD, the City of Kenosha and any and all
participating sponsors and supporters for all claims of damages,
demands or actions, whatsoever in any manner as a result of
participating in the Harborside Academy Veteran Honor Run/Walk. I
attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for
the completion of this event. I take full responsibility for any deviations I
may make from the course, and I understand that I will be disqualified
from this event if I deviate from the course for any reason whatsoever. I
hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my
likeness for any purpose whatsoever.

registration forms will be held until the day of the event and will not
guarantee you a race entry.

Awards: Trophies to top male and female in
each age division also overall male & female
awards (excluded from other awards).
