This dissertation has systematized and clarified the theory and practice of efficient
investment capital in agricultural development, lessons learned and established an
analytical framework for the efficiency of investment capital in agricultural development.
The dissertation has identified the trends of agricultural GDP, investment capital
for agricultural development as the quadratic functions (the previous study is the firstorder linear functions) to serve as a basis for analyzing and forecasting needs for
investment capital for agricultural development.
This dissertation has synthesized, analysed and assessed the effectiveness of
agricultural investment capital in Thua Thien Hue in three aspects:: economy, society
and environment. The efficiency of investment capital in agricultural development in
Thua Thien Hue by source of funds, according to local, according to the industry,
according to investment projects and according to agricultural enterprises. Which
indicates the investment capital for the development of the fisheries sector is the most
effective, the capital of enterprises and the people are the most effective, Phong Dien
district of coastal areas and lagoons are most effective due to their exploitation of
fisheries potential.
Identifying the factors affecting the efficiency of investment capital in agricultural
development in Thua Thien Hue. At the same time, it has proven the correlation between
investment capital in agricultural development, agricultural GDP, the agricultural labor

and total factor productivity in agriculture in Thua Thien Hue, the results showed that
there is a correlation in agriculture and forestry. Fisheries alone did not correlate due to
the lack of capital and capital unstable.
The dissertation proposes solutions to improve the efficiency of investment capital
in agricultural development in Thua Thien Hue province.
