What is it? ホープ・ナイトとは？
ホープ・ナイトはホープ・インターナショナル開発機構が月に1度、通常火曜日に開催しているイベントで、
毎月のテーマにそったクイズやプレゼンテーションと交流会で構成されています。ホープの途上国支援活動
を紹介する場にもなっています。
HOPE Night is an opportunity to meet new people. It is a presentation, about world
issues and about what HOPE is doing to help those in the poorer nations of the
world.

「フェアトレード」
今回は JICA 中部内のフェアビーンズ
なごや地球ひろば店・店長の北奥順子
さんを招いてフェアトレードについて
お話をしていただきます。基礎的な
知識から、フェアトレードが社会問題
解決する仕組みなどについて話して
いただきます。
“Fair Trade”
This month, we have invited as a guest speaker Ms. Junko Kitaoku. She is the
manager of "Fair Beans," a fair trade shop located in the JICA Chubu building. The
word "fair trade" has become quite familiar to us these days. Junko-san will talk
about the basics of fair trade and how fair-trade can provide a solution to some of
the social issues in the world.
