Sub: Supply of rates for “Hiring the vehicle for field/Observation of Apiaries and Pollinators collection trips”
Quotations invited – regarding
Dear Sir,
Sealed quotations should reach this office by not later than 1400 hrs on 8.6.2015 (Monday). The cover
containing quotation should be superscribed as Quotations for Hiring of Non Ac Vehicle for field/insect collection
trips” due on 8.6.2015 (Quotations received without this superscription will have the risk of not being considered).
The quotations will be opened at 15.00 hrs on the same day i.e. 8.6.2015 (Monday). Quotations shall satisfy the

The rates quoted shall be valid for a minimum period of 180 days from the last date fixed for the receipt of
the quotations.
The period of contract shall be initially for one year.
If taxes, duties or any other charges over and above the rate quoted are Leviable actual percentage of such
taxes, duties or other charges should be clearly indicated.
Quotation shall be complete in all respects. Incomplete quotations are liable to be rejected.
The Director, IARI, New Delhi reserves to himself the right to accept or reject any or all the quotation
either in full or in part without assigning any reason.
Enquiries about the rate of quotations will not be entertained.
Quotations not complying with the above conditions are liable to be rejected.
Sealed quotation should be put in the “Quotation Box” of the Division of Entomology, IARI, Pusa, New
Delhi – 110 012 on or before 25.5.2015.
The meter reading will start and end from the duty point i.e. Division of Entomology.
TIN/VAT/PAN/CST numbers should be given on the quotation form.
The required information may please be furnished in the enclosed form.
Vehicle to be shown for inspection and approval once quotation is approved. The vehicles are required in
good running condition for duty as and when requested. Before 2013 model of the vehicle will not be
entertained for travel.
The bid should be accompanied with earnest money of Rs 10000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand Only) which should
be in the form of DD/Pay order drawn in favour of Director, IARI. Without EMD, the quotation will not be
entertained. The EMD shall be refunded the unsuccessful bidder after finalization of the quotation. In case
of successful bidder, it can be adjusted towards security deposit as per rule.
The successful bidder has to deposit performance Security Money of Rs.25, 000/- (Rupees Twenty five
thousand only) in favor of Director, IARI in the shape of Bank Draft/Fixed Deposit/Bank Guarantee.
The vehicle shall be properly insured and should carry necessary fitness certificate from concerned
authority including pollution certificate etc.
In case of any breakdown of vehicle on duty, the agency shall arrange for providing another vehicle
immediately. In such a case, mileage from garage to the point of breakdown would not be paid.
Vehicle shall be made available on all days including Saturday, Sundays, Holidays & late night also may be
required.
